PT services to address any pain or symptoms you have that are disrupting your daily activities. A detailed evaluation will be performed and a plan of care will be developed that is specific to you. The focus of PT services is to get rid of current symptoms and make sure they stay away. This therapy is appropriate for anyone experiencing pelvic floor concerns. See below for a list of common issues that we can help with.
Our pregnancy program will guide you through each step of your pregnancy. This is a form of physical therapy that is initiated before any pain or issues arise. A detailed evaluation will be performed and a home program developed specific for you. We will also provide education on how to avoid common pregnancy concerns, what to do if any arise and how to prepare your body for labor and delivery. We typically begin pregnancy guided PT after the first trimester.
Birth prep services are specifically designed for the later stages of pregnancy beginning around 32 weeks. We will have 2-4 sessions to teach you the proper techniques for labor pain management, pushing, and safe postpartum movement. We will also be able to help identify any restrictions that may impact delivery. We also provide birth prep to those with scheduled C-section birth plans. We will review helpful and safe techniques for taking care of your baby afterward.
